About Us

Hi there, I’m Anney Keogh and I’m passionate about gardening, and in particular, container gardening. I’m an Aussie and I live “Down Under” in sunny Sydney. Of course, I love going to the beach and live not far from Bondi. For the last twenty-five years I have been operating my own indoor plant hire and maintenance business but at present I am diversifying and find more and more of my time is spent consulting, planning and installing container gardens for clients. I love this side of my business as it lets me get creative.

I’ve loved gardening since I was a child. Here is a photo of me when I was eight years old. My brother and sister were obviously more interested in fighting than gardening !!!

In my spare time I love to read and go to the movies. I love cooking and entertaining my friends and I especially love to laugh.

I have a 15 year old daughter, Annika, and here is a photo of her helping me when she was young. Now she prefers boys and shopping to gardening. I’m sure this will change as she gets older!

I love playing with Poppy and Monty, my two Minature Schnauzers and taking them for long walks.

I’ve really enjoyed writing this e-book on container gardening. Most of the photos were taken in my own garden which I’m very proud of.

During my travels it never ceases to amaze me that nearly every country has the same trees and plants as we have here in Australia. The only difference is that our seasons are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere. When those trees have leaves on them, ours are bare, and visa versa.

My ultimate dream is to spend every September and October in the New England area of the USA. I’ve been there twice during the Fall/Autumn season and fell in love with the spectacular foliage. I can just picture myself relaxing on the verandah of my rented, lakefront cottage in Vermont or New Hampshire. Ahhh…

And I have a feeling that I will be living my dream in the not too distant future.
